Molly Stern, an accomplished publishing executive, approached Godfrey Dadich to create the brand identity for her new independent publishing platform, Zando. The brand has since launched imprints with celebrities such as Lena Waithe and Sarah Jessica Parker, among many other titles since the early 2021 launch. Godfrey Dadich was tasked with developing a brand identity and introductory online presence for the publisher’s launch announcement.

The identity consists of a nameplate and colophon, along with key type specs and a harmonious color palette with a hint of red to signal towards the boldness and future-forward thinking of Stern’s publishing venture.

The final output consisted of the brand’s website, core brand elements, and a set of guidelines to carry Zando into 2021 with a fresh visual identity.
